Acupressure for Health and Pain Management
1 1/2 – Hour Workshop
Acupressure is an ancient healing art developed in Asia over 5,000 years ago that uses the fingers to press key points on the skin to reduce body aches and stimulate the body’s own natural defences. Acupressure is an integral part of Traditional Oriental Medicine, which even today is still the most widely used healing system in the world. This workshop teaches the basics of acupressure and covers pressure points for common pain areas such as tension and migraine headaches, neck and shoulder pain, and back pain. Resource material will be suggested for other maladies as well. This is a hands-on workshop and participants can either work on themselves, or on a partner.
